How is LotPulse so much cheaper than other dealer and shop software?▾
Simple: we cut out the middleman. Traditional software companies employ large sales teams who visit your lot or shop, upsell features, and lock you into contracts. All of that overhead gets baked into your monthly bill. LotPulse is 100% self-serve and cloud-based — you sign up, set up, and get to work without ever talking to a sales rep. How much does LotPulse cost?▾
Dealers: Free $0; Starter $19.99/mo, or $199.90/yr; Pro $39.99/mo, or $399.90/yr; Max $99.99/mo, or $999.90/yr. Shops: Shop Free $0; Shop Pro $9.99/mo, or $99.90/yr. Paid plans start with a 30-day free trial, no card needed. Same prices in USD and CAD.
Do I need to be good with computers?▾
No. LotPulse is built for owner-operators, not IT departments. It runs in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer, there’s nothing to install, and you can set it up without training or a sales call.
What kinds of auto shops use LotPulse?▾
Auto repair and mechanic shops, window tint shops, detailing and ceramic coating shops, and wrap and PPF shops. You name your own services, set how long each takes, and show a starting price or leave it blank.
Can customers book my shop online?▾
Yes, on Shop Pro. Customers pick a service, a day and an open time on your shop website, then leave their name, phone and vehicle. The booking lands on your schedule and you get an email and an in-app alert. Only your open times can be booked.
Does LotPulse handle work orders and invoices for shops?▾
Yes. Turn a booking into a work order, track the job, then make the invoice from the work order when it’s done and mark it sent or paid. Every customer keeps their vehicles and past jobs on record.
Is LotPulse suitable for Buy Here Pay Here dealerships?▾
LotPulse was built with BHPH in mind from day one. The Max plan includes BHPH autopay and collections, automatic payment texts (up to 1,000 a month), GPS, and portfolio reports. It’s not an add-on — it’s built into the core platform.
Can dealers bring over data from their current DMS?▾
Yes. Dealers can import vehicles and customers from a CSV file. Most dealer systems can export one.
What are Pulse Sites?▾
Pulse Sites are the websites LotPulse builds for you, included on every plan. Dealer sites stay synced with your inventory — new vehicles appear instantly, sold vehicles disappear automatically — and leads flow into your CRM. Shop sites show your services, hours and tap-to-call buttons, and take online bookings on Shop Pro. Use your own domain on Starter and up, or on Shop Pro. Every site shows a small “Powered by LotPulse” link in the footer.
I sell cars and run a service shop. Can I use one account?▾
Yes. Add Shop Pro to a Starter, Pro or Max dealer plan for $9.99/mo and run both from one login.
Do I need to sign a contract?▾
No contracts, ever. Pay monthly, or yearly and get 2 months free. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account settings. We believe if you need a contract to keep customers, your product isn’t good enough.
Is my business data safe?▾
Security is foundational to LotPulse. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit, stored in SOC 2 compliant infrastructure, with role-based access controls and automated backups. Each business’s data is completely isolated — no other dealer or shop can ever access your information.
Can I cancel anytime?▾
Absolutely. There are no contracts. You can cancel any time. If a paid trial ends without a card, you move to Free (or Shop Free) and nothing is deleted.
